Description

In accordance with FAR subpart 13.106(b) (1), the Department of Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to University of Virginia, Executive Leadership and Career Development Workshop to support the pilot offering of the ?Tomorrow?s Leaders Initiative? in the amount of $53,500.00. The course designed to assess participant?s interpersonal styles and leadership gaps to enable the development of a tailored individual develop plan for their Tomorrow?s Leadership journey. FAR 6.302-1(2) University of Virginia is the only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the DCMA?s requirement. The University of Virginia has provided this workshop to the Department of the Navy and it would be costly and untimely to the Government to solicit another source to develop and deliver a similar workshop at this time. The workshop was developed by the University of Virginia has proven its value over time. The workshop has proven to be the most advantageous to the Government This is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Documentation should be received within ten (10) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by DCMA. A determination by the DCMA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
