Description
The 505th Command and Control Wing is seeking a contractor to furnish all personnel with supervision required to support / execute / perform / and provide Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Initial Qualification Training (IQT); advanced operational academics; ACC assigned exercises / experiments; focused warfighter training events; Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) exercises, integration efforts, and environments; wing security functions and support for wing authorized tours. The Contractor shall provide expertise in the following areas: program support, mission support, instruction, computer and systems-level support, exercise and simulation (planning support, integration, control, training and execution), curriculum development and revision, analysis, pre-field testing on C2 equipment and procedures for innovative technologies, inspections, and other requirements. The contractor shall provide Subject Matter Experts (SME?s) to research, author, review, edit and recommend changes to C2 related background papers, Tactics - Techniques and Procedures (TTP) documents, Technical Manuals, AFIs, Wing and squadron instructions and doctrine publications. Incorporate lessons learned from exercises, experiments, test events and real-world operations into appropriate documents. Initial Qualification Training courses follow the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process. IQT curriculum is accredited under the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). The Contractor shall adhere to ISD and CCAF standards and guidance when instructing IQT courses. Places of performance include: Hurlburt Air Field, FL; Kirtland AFB, NM; Nellis AFB, NV; and Hill AFB, UT. The successful offeror will assume full training, exercise support and curriculum development commitments for a basic contract year. Four one-year options are planned. This posting serves as the government?s issuance of a synopsis. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4890-06-R-0179. Future FedBizOps postings will be posted under this solicitation number. INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION: The 505 CCW team is planning an Industry Day Forum for 6 & 7 September in the Fort Walton Beach, FL area. The Government will brief the 505 CCW requirements, answer questions from industry, and provide an opportunity for interest parties to exchange information. To help with the planning of this event and to determine meeting space requirements, we request that contractors limit attendance to two (2) representatives. However, if more than two sectors/sections of a company will be involved then two representatives per sector/section will be allowed. If one-on-one meetings are desired, they will be held on the second day, 7 Sep. Please acknowledge your intention to attend via e-mail with your companies name, number of representatives, and Point of Contact to 505CCW.PK@hurlburt.af.mil no later than 18 Aug 06. Please include in the subject line, ?Industry Day Response?. Your responses are important so the Government can secure adequate meeting space for the forum. The Government will publish meeting location after 21 Aug 06.
