Description
Design and build observation tower structures to aid in the interdiction of counter narcotics along Pakistans Macron Coast. This project is defined as the design, furnishing of materials, labor, and equipment to build the observation tower and cons truct all associated utilities, support structures, security measures. The work shall include the preparation of design documents and the subsequent construction of the facilities. The facility shall include structures as shown on the drawings herein, specifications, and contain all necessary utilities for operations as such. These facilities shall be designed and constructed in accordance with current building codes, safety, and security standards and applicable to local standards. Prepare a site grading and drainage plan and obtain approval prior to construction. Provide si te and UXO clearance prior to construction activity. All utilities shall be complete and operational prior to occupancy. It is the contractors responsibility to ensure that the designs are complete and are in compliance with the latest applicable buildin gs codes and regulations. Award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31M. The estimated value of the work is between $10,000,000.00 and $25, 000,000.00. The total schedule for completing the entire work is approximately 450 calendar days after date of award. The proposed contract will be awarded using best value where technical and costs are approximately equal. Solicitation No W917PM-06-R-0 084 will be available on or about 15 Aug 2006. There will be a Pre-proposal conference 25 Aug 06. Point of contact for this procurement is Cheryl C.
