- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate on a Full and Open competitive basis an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity requirements type contract with Firm Fixed-Price pricing arrangements in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 ? Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD. The supplies to be delivered will include bulk delivery of Aviator?s Breathing Oxygen, Type II Liquid, 99.5% pure and Technical Nitrogen, Type II Liquid, Grade B, 99.5% pure, Class 1, Oil-free. The requirements for the Aviator?s Breathing Oxygen and the Technical Nitrogen will be outlined in delivery orders and will be required for a twelve-month base period and four one-year renewable option periods. The effective base period of performance is projected to be 1 September 2006 through 31 August 2007. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 325120. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 10 August 2006 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
