- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue solicitation N65236-06-R-0871 as a sole source commercial item contract pursuant to the test procedures under FAR 13.5 to DRT, Inc., 20250 Century Blvd, Suite 300, Germantown, MD 20874. The procurement covers the purchase of thirteen (13) each DF 25B-2 Direction Finding System and thirteen (13) each 75 foot DF cable to be integrated into the existing TPCS-MPC system of software. DRT is the original equipment manufacturer and has proprietary design rights to meet specific critical design, functional and operational requirements for the Marine Corps' TPCS-MPC system of software. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The FSC Code is 5865. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a notice of intent and is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may inquire about the process to have their products tested and evaluated for future procurements by submitting their comments in writing to Mr. Hanh Chau, Code 0271HC, Contract Specialist, at hanh.h.chau@navy.mil no later than 1200 (EST) on 8 Aug 2006.
