- Description
- The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a purchase order for the design, fabrication, management, shipping installation and dismantling services for the 2006 American Public Health Association Exhibit. This exhibition will be held November 4-8, 2006 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR APHA EXHIBIT AND SHIPPING SCOPE OF SERVICES: Design/Consultation: Contractor shall provide layout consultation for entire exhibit area to include: Four sections for the people, places, preparedness and global goals. Consultation on how best to position CDC?s goals to APHA attendees 10 individual sections/stations for each CIO Two sections for information booths to accommodate four staff members each 2 Common areas for networking which include at least four couches and a loveseat Incorporation of Vision Dome immersive display which will be positioned in the Center of the exhibit Consultation on promotional activities and giveaways for the CDC Experience to be presented in the Vision Dome. On-site assistance and consultative services for installation and dismantling of all exhibit components. Integration of additional banner stands to highlight immersive display unit. Graphics must coordinate with current equipment and style utilized for 2005 exhibit. Artwork: Contractor shall produce (4) new artwork panels, banner stands and additional artwork and signage as deemed necessary. TASK TO BE PERFORMED: CDC will present an electronic artwork file to the contractor, who will create the final artwork panels and signage. The contractor will ship the existing hardware, new artwork and all exhibit materials to the APHA conference, install and dismantle the materials. The exhibitor will have a management level person assisting on-site at the conference with technical issues and installation. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED MATERIALS: CDC will create the finished electronic files for the contractor to execute. The design will be delivered to the contractor in an electronic version. Graphic designer staff will be available to consult with the contractor staff throughout the production and post-production. All content, text, photo images and graphic images will be supplied by the CDC. CDC will also create and produce any multi-media presentations to be shown at the conference. The contractor will facilitate the viewing of the presentation in their design concept and execution. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms. The quotation shall include the price, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point(Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number(TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number(DUNS),and descriptive literature of the service quoted. Quotations will be due fifteen(15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
