Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, Enterprise Support Office intends to award a sole source fixed price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to Vinzant Software under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this procurement is provide Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Global Event Control Systems (ECS) Systems software to assist in solving its problem of scheduling its UNIX based programs, procedures, and file updates on its multiple servers, multiple jobs, and multiple networks. The characteristic that makes Vinzant Software, Inc. the only source that will meet the demands of the agency are: Vinzant is the sole proprietor of its global ECS Systems. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believe it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 14 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
