Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price service type contract to be negotiated as a small business set aside for transportation of turn-in property from NAS Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA to DRMO, Fort Lewis, Washington in support of NAS Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA. Detailed information will be included in the solicitation. The resulting contract will have an estimated period of performance of a base year from 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007, and two one-year option periods. The commercial solicitation, N00406-06-T-1150, will be issued on or about 14 August 2006 with a closing date of 21 August 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
