- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00060206 herein is cited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The commercial items policies of FAR Part 12 will be used in conjunction with the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. Solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09(b). This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NACIA Code: 423320, Small Business Size Standard: 100 employees. (Description) Hot/Cold Mix, Asphalt Material, ? inch Aggregate, Grading D. 1. Delivered. (Quantity) 305 ton, (Unit Price) $ , (Total Amount) $ . 2. Government will pick up. (Quantity) 305 ton, (Unit Price) $ , (Total Amount) $ . Item Description: The Hot/Cold Mix, Asphalt Material, ? inch Aggregate shall conform to FP-96, Table 703-4, Grading D; Asphalt content shall be 5% - 6% based on total mix; Aggregates shall meet FP-96, Subsection 703.07(a), (b) & (c). Measurement and Payment shall be in accordance with (iaw) Section 109, Measurement and Payment. All delivery shall be completed within 30 calendar days after date of contract award. Acceptance shall be iaw FP-96, Section 106, Acceptance of Work. Item 1 - Deliver FOB destination to BIA-Shiprock Agency, Division of Transportation, Building SR-169, Shiprock Yard, Shiprock, New Mexico. Item 2 ? The Government will pick up material on an as need basis. FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commerical Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors shall include with their quotations a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 52.232-18, Availability of Funds apply to this acquisition.
