Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, ESP Team, Menlo Park, CA intends to make a sole source award to Wavetech Geophysical, Inc, 1401 17th Street, Ste 510, Denver, CO 80202, for the following service: The contractor shall provide digital copies (Eastern Siberian and Russian Chukchi Sea) of the selected seismic lines. The processed (stacked and migrated) 2-D seismic lines shall be provided in SEG-Y format along with navigation data in SEG-P1 format on DLT or DVD media as follows: Line ESS91-01 - Shotpoints 1001-17061 Line ESS91-02 - Shotpoints 1001-15068 Line ESS91-03 - Shotpoints 801-6331 Line ESS91-04 - Shotpoints 806-14811 Line SC90-2 - Shotpoints 1001-11698 Line SC90-5 - Shotpoints - 10885-18287 Line SC90-12 - Shotpoints - 939-12803 Line SC90-15 - Shotpoints - 11433-14418 Line SC90-15A - Shotpoints - 20081 Line SC90-18A - Shotpoints - 2295-7257 Line Sc90-20 - Shotpoints - 13600-19535 Line SC90-21 - Shotpoints - 7880-14940 Line SC90-26A - Shotpoints - 1001-10132 The contractor Wavetech Geophysical, Inc. is a multidisciplinary international company specializing in the area of geophysics with worldwide operations and state-of-the art geophysical techniques. It has the largest and most modern 2-D seismic data set covering offshore northeastern Russia that is available to the USGS. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond within ten days of this announcement. All responses must be in writing by facsimile to the Contracting Officer at (209)742-5079 or email amargrave@usgs.gov. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
