Description

This is a notice of intent by the Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA-209) to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0024 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. This effort covers the requirements to provide Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA209). This tasking is for the completion of EMI compliance testing of the RT-1851A(C) ARC-210 Radio at a laboratory accredited to conduct MIL-STD-461E compliance verification by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). All testing shall be under the guidance of the national Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers (NARTE). This effort shall be completed within 6 months ARO. As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintain the proprietary rights to this radio, they are the only capable source of providing the testing. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
