Description

This is a notice of intent to issue an order to Avid Technologies, Inc., 990 Highway 287n, Suite 106 PMB 220, Mansfield, TX 76063, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for 1 Each Server Remote Response; turnkey service solution consisting of a server and software; 30 licenses are provided for each system managed by the remote response server; pwr rqmts: 115-230VAC, 50-60HZ; 2 Each License Software; 10-pack, Avid Remote Response; C/W: First Year Software Maintenance Included (0541-03556-01); 1 Each Non-Personal Service; Avid remote response installation; location: AFRTS HQ, 601 North Fairfax Street Room 311, Alexandria, VA. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date specified in the response date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement constitutes the only notice, a written solicitation will not be issued.
