Description: The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization - Pacific, Alaska Procurement Branch intends to purchase Initia Intelligent Switches and Tandberg VTC equipment on a brand name basis. The Initia brand name equipment is required as it will be used to replace existing network equipment in the event of failure. The Tandberg brand name equipment is required in order to diverisfy the various CODEC equipment used. The items will be used to familiarize the DISA PAC command personnel with use of the equipment so they may provide trouble shooting expertise to VTC users throughout the command's area of responsibility.
