- Amendment No. 0001 is hereby issued to provide the current size standards in millions of dollars for Small Business Administration Size Standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. Effective July 31, 2006, the size standards in millions of dollars for NAICS Code 611430 is $6.5 million. Therefore, the $6.0 million referenced under the Posting (brief abstract) and in Section H, Special Requirements, is changed to read $6.5 million. Acknowledgement of receipt for attached Amendment No. 0001 must be provided to the FAA in accordance with Item 11 of the Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract form. This SIR sets forth the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements for contractor to provide Acquisition Management System (AMS) Training and Support Services for the FAA, Acquisition Policy & Planning Group. All CLINS (included in the Base Period, Option Period One, and three (3), one (1) year option periods) are to be awarded on a Firm Fixed-Price basis with four (4) optional Time and Materials CLINS. See Section B for further details. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The FAA will review all proposals submitted by 8(a) socially and economically disadvantaged businesses (SEDB) and small businesses. If the FAA determines that any of the 8(a) SEDB respondents can meet the requirement, the FAA will down select among those qualified vendors. If the FAA determines that none of the 8(a) respondents are capable of fulfilling this requirement, but it is determined there are respondents amongst small businesses that can meet the requirement, the FAA will down select among those qualified vendors. Proposals submitted by 8(a) certified businesses must include a copy of the Small Business Administration 8(a) certification letter. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. Small Business Size Standard: $6.0 million. All services are to be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SIR. In accordance with the SIR instructions, proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 Noon (EST) on Monday, August 28, 2006. Also, all questions pertaining to the SIR must be submitted in accordance with applicable SIR instructions. See Section L for further information. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparation or submittal of responses to this SIR announcement.
