Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with CMS Field Products, 2148 Pelham Pkwy, Building 400, Pelham, AL 35124-1192. The contractor shall provide Full Service Preventive Maintenance Support to government-owned MINICAMS and Accessories. The contemplated services will be performed at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AK. This service will i nclude all necessary maintenance, labor including travel time, documentation, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment, transportation and other related services necessary to perform the maintenance service. The services are for a period of 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007 with four one-year options. CMS Field Products uniqueness is they have the patent rights to the equipment and copyrighted software. No other company has the proprietary rights to this equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 and the size standard is $6.5 million dollars in average annual receipts over the last three years. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time, 31 August 2006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
