Description: TACOM-Warren proposes to solicit, negotiate and award a new contract on a sole source basis with Eurostep America Incorporated of Santa Monica, CA 90403-4621. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase product and services to include software pur chase, implementation (interface) maintenance, and training for Eurostep software Share-A-Space. As the role of Product Life Cycle Support (PLCS) Master Data Integrator (MDI) Share-A-space shall be used to provide services for US Army Tank Automotive Resea rch and Development Center (TARDEC) Automated Configuration Management System (ACMS). TARDEC is leading the implementation effort for the integration of lifecycle product data for U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command ground tactical and combat sys tems. The Department of Defense requires the Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data STEP PLC ISO 10303-239 per memorandum dated June 23, 2005. The share-a-space software from Eurostep currently supports the PLCS standard. The negotiated contrac t will be a firm fixed price for a 12 month performance period, with an estimated award value of $300,000.00. See numbered note 22.
