Description
Temporary HVAC Systems: -Contractor shall provide and install and make operational temporary HVAC equipment before demolition of existing equipment. Demolition: -Remove and dispose of hot water boiler controls, hot water reset and steam humidification boiler controls. -Remove and dispose of hot water boiler exhaust/intake stack. -Remove and relocate hot water boiler to the south wall in the first floor mechanical room. Construction: -Relocate hot water boiler, boiler accessories and install new Saf-T Vent CI Plus gas vent/intake stack per manufacturers specifications -Provide and install new boiler controls with relocated unit and hot water reset controls. -Provide and install new Air Handling Units AHU-2, AHU-2a, AHU-3, and AHU-4. Each unit is a custom configured unit manufactured by Carrier. -Provide and install hot water zone pumps P-1, P-2, P-3, P-12 and chilled water pumps P-4, P-5, P-9, and P-10 includeing new electrical starters and disconnects. -Provide and install new chilled water piping, new hydronic hot water piping, valves, ductwork, insulation and supports to new air handlers. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE NAICS: 238220 RANGE: $500,000 to $1,000,000 To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
