Description: The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the Department of Defense Medical School for the Military, intends to award on a sole source basis to Springer Science and Business Media (SSBM), utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302.1. To the best of the Contracting Officer?s knowledge, SSBM is the only source for the Springer Online Journal Archive Medicine Package and Biomedical and Life Sciences Package. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. However, if a vendor has reason to believe it can meet or exceed all of the University?s requirement, it may submit documentation to the POC by September 4, 2006 to support it?s claim.
