Description

The Lotus Notes Data Base Conversion Project for the San Dimas Technology and Development Center is located in Los Angeles County, California. The Forest Service is searching for information to ascertain whether skills are available in the marketplace to accomplish the following task. This is for market research only but information received may prompt a subsequent solicitation. The work will be performed at the Contractor?s place of business. The project consists of moving or recreating the Lotus Notes database and routines to a multi user Oracle based relational database that functions the same as and provides the same levels of access, usability and security as the original Forest Service Lotus database. The user interface must look and function as much like the original Lotus database as possible to ensure the shortest startup time as possible for the users. Focus efforts on developing a J2EE compliant web-based application that will run on an Oracle10g application server. The Forest Service is searching for skills outlined on the Statement of Need. The purpose of this request is to solicit information from and gauge the interest of parties that might be interested in performing this service.
