Description

This requirement is for the Upgrade of two (2) each Receiver-Exciters (R-Es), NSN 5841-01-315-0646FX, Part Number 3173025-115 to NSN 5841-01-489-1000SO, Part Number 3173025-117 and Data IAW DD Forms 1423-1, Contract Data Requirements List. The upgraded R-Es will be used on the AC-130U Gunship. There are no options. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price. No technical data is available. Destination: To be specified on the resultant contract. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request For Proposal (RFP) FA8509-06-R-60674 will follow. See WEB page at http://www.fedbizops.gov/. The estimated award date is 30 Sep 2006. This Requirement is sole source to Raytheon Company, El Segundo CA. Justification: 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) 1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is permitted or the acquisition is restricted to domestic sources.
