- **The posting has been amended to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set-Aside Sealed Bid. It is the responsibility of the offeror to make note of the changes in this paragraph.** This pre-solicitation synopsis is issued against solicitation number FA7000-06-B-0011, Roof Replacement – Field House East, Building #2169, United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80840-2315. This is a Straddle 2 (fill or kill) unfunded project. This pre-solicitation synopsis is for a non-commercial, firm-fixed price construction contract. The project scope of work consists of the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to replace the roof located on Field House East, Building #2169 at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado. The total magnitude of this contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A pre-proposal site visit will be conducted. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. No hard copies will be available. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $13.0 Million and the NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) Code for this solicitation is 238160, Roofing Contractors. In accordance with DOD policy, all prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about 8 August 2006 with a closing date on or about 7 September 2006, using the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov/) for electronic posting. No telephone, postal mail service, fax, or e-mail requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Pursuant to Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AAFARS) Ms. Isabel L.
