Description: Patient care equipment for safer and more efficient transfer of patients from the laying down position to the sitting up position. As part of the No Lift Program (no lifting of patients) at the VA hospital in Omaha, NE, the hospital is procuring specialty patient mobility equipment (bed that converts to a wheel chair). The features of the equipment need to match the features of the Stretchair (but can be another brand that has equivalent features). 6 Total chairs are needed from this solicitation (3 that can be used for patients of up to 300 pounds and 3 that can be used for patients of up to 600 pounds). The important features of these chairs are: Oxygen tank holder, IV Rod holder and power vertical lift system. Price submitted should include freight and any other applicable charges or fees.
