- The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCB at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to Antenna Research Associates Inc, 11317 Beltsville, MD 20705 for the purchase of Parabolic Dish Antennas. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued as FIT0DF6207A100. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220, with small business standard size 750 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered note #22 applies to this acquisition. Sole Source Justification Statement: The 46 RANSS/RGRT program office has a requirement to furnish 5 additional antennas to support an ongoing effort. It is critical to ongoing tests that the additional antennas match the existing antennas exactly. The antenna is the key component of the system. This exact antenna is required to maintain compatibility with the existing system design. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001, Qty (1 EA) ANTENNA, 3 FOOT PARABOLIC DISH WITH 2-3.9 GHz FEED N-TYPE (OR AN SC CONNECTOR IF DEEMED MORE APPROPRIATE) SHALL BE AT THE FEED POINT TO CONNECT TO THE CUSTOMERS CABLE. UNIT SHALL HANDLE 10 kW PEAK AND 800W AVERAGE POWER. HUB RING INCLUDED FOR MOUNTING. SHIPPED ASSEMBLED IN A CRATE.P/N: PRA-239/C2975 CLIN 0002, Qty (2 EA) ANTENNA, 3 FOOT PARABOLIC DISH WITH 7.4-12 GHz FEED. WR102 WAVEGUIDE INTERFACE WITH A FLAT FACE AND ALL TAPPED HOLES LOCATED AT REAR CENTER OF THE DISH IS PROVIDED FOR CUSTOMER INTERFACE. UNIT SHALL HANDLE 10kW PEAK AND 800W AVERAGE POWER. HUB RING FOR MOUNTING INCLUDED. UNIT IS SHIPPED ASSEMBLED IN CRATE. P/N: PRA-7412/C2975 CLIN 0003, Qty (2 EA) ANTENNA, 3 FOOT PARABOLIC DISH WITH 12-18 GHz FEED. WR62 WAVEGUIDE INTERFACE WITH A FLAT FACE AND ALL TAPPED HOLES LOCATED AT REAR CENTER OF THE DISH IS PROVIDED FOR CUSTOMER INTERFACE. UNIT SHALL HANDLE 10kW PEAK AND 800W AVERAGE POWER.
