Description

The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, MD, intends to award a sole source purchase order to WRG Fire Training Simulations Systems, Inc. for the purchase/installation of (1) Burn room conversion to 3rd floor of structural fire trainer, (1) Lighting package, (1) Smoke detector system, (1) Non-slip surface to exterior wall, and (1) sprinkler control system to structural fire trainer. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within three (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a subsequent competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract three (3) business days after publication of this notice.
