- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Boston Scientific Corp., One Scimed Place, Maple Grove, MN 55311 for an I-Lab Cart Intravascular Imaging System with one 19 inch monitor, one black and white printer, one data entry touch panel, archiving PC and power transformer, tableside controller and motor drive unit connected to the cart. The I-Lab Cart System is required to provide state of the art equipment in the Cardiac Cath and EP Labs for ultrasound visualization of coronary vasculature during invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The Boston Scientific I-Lab Ultrasound is the only system currently on the market with automated measurement of coronary vasculature and intra-cardiac measurement of the atrium and ventricles for invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The Boston Scientific I-Lab Ultrasound provides the best three dimensional images for ultrasound visualization of coronary vasculature. The I-Lab Ultrasound is able to visualize both small and large cardiac vessels.
