Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of custom-made Judge Advocate Courtroom furniture in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Specification/Drawing. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) F4D0E16238A100. Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06 and DFARS Change Notice 20040625. North American Industrial Classification Standard 337212, Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery: Judge Advocate Courtroom, Bldg 10577, Vandenberg AFB CA 93437 .The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated on technical and price related factors. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. Bueno to request a copy of Specification and Drawing by email or phone 805-606-3983. STATEMENT OF WORK For 30 SW/JA (Judge Advocate) Custom Courtroom Furniture for Building 10577 1. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, tools, supplies, transportation and equipment to install custom cabinetry to include Judge?s bench with platform and stairs, Witness Stand and Court Reporter Station as well as a separate but matching Lectern. The Judge?s Bench shall have a 12? wide work counter at the top of the Judge?s Bench, 24? deep work surface inside and approximately 12? high platform. The Court Reporter Station shall have work surface and gate/half door to close off the Court Reporter Station. The Witness Stand and Court Reporter Station are to have a 3?high platform inside. The Judge?s Bench shall have a strip of 1? wide bronze accent to line up with top of the Court Reporter Station and Witness Stand. The Witness Stand and the Court Reporter Station shall have a 1? wide tambour treatment at the face of the cabinetry. The Lectern shall be 24? wide by 24? deep. The front panel of the Lectern shall be 42? high; the back panel shall be 38? high. See attached drawings for specific information. 1.1 Description of Services: The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1.1.1 Construction and installation of the above noted custom furniture. 1.2 Period of Performance. Construction will have to be scheduled with the 30 SW/JA office. Installation may be completed after during normal duty hours. Work shall be complete within 90 days after contract award. 1.3 Place of Performance: Bldg 10577, Vandenberg AFB, CA 1.4 Base Passes and Controlled Area Badges: Permission for Contractor Personnel and Vehicles to enter Air Force insulation is subject to approval by the Contracting Officer and the Security Forces Squadron. The Contractor is required to comply with AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installations and all Vandenberg AFB policies regarding entry to the installation, rules of the road, and compliance during contingency operations and photography prohibitions. Contractor employees are authorized entry to the installation for the purpose of work under this contract only, and are not authorized in other facilities or areas without prior government authorization. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary cards, passes, buttons, decals or other items required for access to the areas in which the work will be performed. The Contractor is required to apply for vehicle and individual identification media at the 30th Security Police Squadron, Pass and Registration Section, Building 11777. Identification media shall be surrendered to the Pass and Registration Section upon completion or termination of the contract, or upon termination of an individual's employment.
