Description

This solicitation is solicited as a Full and Open competitive procurement. The item to procure is a Lever, Breechblock, NSN: 1005-01-522-0758, P/N 12999957. The proposed contract will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type co ntract. Requirements are Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 15,000: FY07 = 15,000; FY08 = 10,000; FY09 = 10,000; FY10 = 10,000. FOB Destination. The Lever, Breechblock, is for use on the M240B Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is on or about 15 September 2006. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors, who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal, must sign the non-disclosure and non-use agreement, which will be included as an atta chment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before a TDP will be mailed. Any said requests should contain the following information: CA GE Code, company name, point of contact, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been exec uted. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the USG requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by ac cessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically a will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in f act unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is, therefore, incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
