Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE for Firm-Fixed Price Services. All vendors shall download a copy of the Request For Quotation (RFQ), which is available as a hyperlink under the Technical Data Package section of this combined synopsis/solicitation. All q uotes and completed forms shall be received by the closing due date and time of Friday, September 8, 2006, 2:00 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time. Fax or e-mail submission is acceptable. Refer to point-of-contact information for submission fax number and e-mail address. DESCRIPTION OF WORK. Core drill six (6) each 4 diameter x 12 long concrete samples. Samples shall be taken from the exposed cracked face/surface of a broken concrete Core-Loc armor unit which is located at a storage yard approximately 0.5 miles from Kaumalapau Harbor on the Island of Lanai. Contractor shall be responsible for the delivery and testing of the samples as indicated in the RFQ. All work shall be completed within seven (7) calendar days of award and shall be coordinated with the Gover nment's field representative. POINT-OF-CONTACT.
