Description

This is a notice of intent of the Center For Health Care Contracting (CHCC) at Fort Sam Houston, TX to award an Idenfinite Delivery contract for non-personal services to provide a qualified dentist provider network consisting of private civilian dent ists to perform dental treatment within their private offices as directed by a treatment plan provided by the SRP dental station in order to remove a RC Soldier from a Dental Class 3 deployment status into a minimum of a Dental Class 2 deployment status IA W with Health Affairs Policy: 02-011. The performance period will be 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. This is a sole source procurement and the CHCC intends to solicit and negotiate only with Logistics Health Incorporated, under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2). The NAICS code for this procurement is 621210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 million. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procureme nt.
