Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Lower Colorado Region (LCR), has issued a letter contract to Separation Systems Technology (SST), San Diego, CA and intends to definitize the letter contract for the purchase of technical services to include: Developing chlorine-resistant polyamide membranes suitable for Forward Osmosis (FO) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) processes and incorporating new FO membranes into elements and building and operating laboratory-scale pilot systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The BOR, LCR believes that SST is the only company that can provide these services. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 7 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the technical complexity of this requirement. Information may be sent to: Jane Hamilton, LC-3112, Bureau of Reclamation, P.O. Box 61470, Boulder City, Nevada 89006-1470. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to potentially compete the procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
