NAICS Code: 337211 Custom Furniture (Lecturns) Procurement Office: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Program Contract Service Center (3803R), 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Washington, DC 20460 Response Date: September 3, 2006 2:00 PM (ET) NAICS Code: 337211 This is a notice of intent of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Program Contract Service Center, Washington, DC, to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Wall Goldfinger of Northfield, VT for three (3) custom made, custom stained lecturns to match the existing Wall-Goldfinger custom conference room furniture. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government believes only one responsible source can provide the service that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to redmon.iris@epa.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on September 3, 2006. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. However, all responses received on or before September 3, 2006 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The anticipated date of award is September 5, 2006.
