Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Community Corrections Contracting is seeking a Request for Quote from all sources under NAICS code 621420 and the small business size standard at $9.0 million. having the ability to provide outpatient substance abuse treatment and mental health services for federal offenders residing at the Community Corrections Center contract facility and those that are under home confinement in the Shreveport, Louisiana area. The treatment facility shall be located within ten (10) miles of the Community Corrections Center facility located at 752 Austin Place, Shreveport, LA 71101 and near a local public transportation route to and from the contract facility. Performance period and requirements under this contract will be: 1. Base period - 12/01/2006 - 11/30/2007: (a) Intake Assessment - 12 each, (b) Individual Counseling (30 minute session, 24 sessions per inmate X 12 inmates) = 288 sessions, ?) Group Counseling (30 minute session, 72 sessions per inmate X 12 inmates) = 864 sessions, (d) Family Counseling (30 minute session, 2 sessions per inmate X 12 inmates) = 24 sessions, (e) Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report = 1 each, (f) Medication Monitoring = 1 each; 2. Option Year 1 - 12/01/2007 - 11/30/2008:(a) Intake Assessment = 12 each, (b) Individual Counseling (30 minute session, 24 sessions per inmate X 13 inmates) = 312 sessions, ?) Group Counseling (30 minute session, 72 sessions per inmate X 13 inmates) = 936 sessions, (d) Family Counseling (30 minute session, 2 sessions per inmate X 13 inmates) = 26 sessions, (e) Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report = 1 each, (f) Medication Monitoring = 1 each; 3. Option Year 2 - 12/01/2008 - 11/30/2009: (a) Intake Assessment = 14 each, (b) Individual Counseling (30 minute session, 24 sessions per inmate X 14 inmates) = 336 sessions, ?) Group Counseling (30 minute session, 72 sessions per inmate X 14 inmates) = 1,008 sessions, (d) Family Counseling (30 minute session, 2 sessions per inmate X 14 inmates) = 28 sessions, (e) Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report = 1 each, (f) Medication Monitoring = 1 each; 4. Option Year 3 - 12/01/2009 - 11/30/2010: (a) Intake Assessment = 15 each, (b) Individual Counseling (30 minute session, 24 sessions per inmate X 15 inmates) = 360 sessions, ?) Group Counseling (30 minute session, 72 sessions per inmate X 15 inmates) = 1,080 sessions, (d) Family Counseling (30 minute session, 2 sessions per inmate X 15 inmates) = 30 sessions, (e) Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report = 1 each, (f) Medication Monitoring = 1 each; 5. Option Year 4 - 12/01/2010 - 11/30/2011: (a) Intake Assessment = 16 each, (b) Individual Counseling (30 minute session, 24 sessions per inmate X 16 inmates) = 384 sessions, ?) Group Counseling (30 minute session, 72 sessions per inmate X 28 inmates) = 1,152 sessions, (d) Family Counseling (30 minute session, 12 sessions per inmate X 16 inmates) = 32 sessions, (e) Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report = 1 each, (f) Medication Monitoring = 1 each The services required above shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT), Statement of Work dated October 2005. The solicitation will be available on or before Sept. 15, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about October 15,2006.
