Description

Vicksburg Consolidated Contracts Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Statseeker Pty Ltd. 5th Floor, 440 Park Ave. South, New York, NY 10016. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acqui sition Procedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Statseeker is a high performance, vastly scalable Network Monitoring Tool that is specifically designed to monitor every port on every pub, switch, router and server on any network, regardless of its size. Statseekers Network Monitoring Software delivers a comprehensive view of how the entire network is performing and provides the ability to drill down and identify hotspots on the netwo rk. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later that 4:30 CST on 06 Septembe r 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open c ompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may s ubmit any information for consideration by the Government to Erin.E.Mathews@mvk02.usace.army.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
