Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR 13 and the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annou ncement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W911SA-06-T-0096 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is due by 1630 hours CST, 14 September 2006. This solicitation is set as ide for small business participation under NAICS code 336112 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. CLIN 0001 Quantity 1 each. Landpride Gondo utility vehicle or equivalent. The following minimum specifications must be met: Utility vehicle, all terrain, OHV V-Twin Kohler Command Pro Series engine, fully articulating and oscillating interactive frame, fully certified ROPS, 5-speed automotive transmission, full-time 4-wheel drive, Dana differentials for both front and rear, 4-wheeled automotive style braking system, hydrostatic power steering, lever activiated hydraulic outlets, 2200 lb total payload ca p, 8-gallon fuel tank, 56 inch wheel stance, 13.5 inch under floorboard high ground clearance, large open operator's station, high back type bucket seats, cab-over suspension system on front cowling, forward-tilting cab console, standard 2 inch receiver hi tch, brush guard, 1-yr warranty against mfg defects, 2-yr mfg engine warranty. Requires the following options: brush guard, roll bar, winch. In accordance with FAR 39.106, the contractor shall ensure the offered product and all information technology (IT) contained therein shall be Year 2000 Compliant. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO THIS RFQ may submit their quote in accord ance with standard commercial practice (i.e. quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number, offerors complete mailing and remittance addresses, price, discount terms, DUNS number, Tax Identification Number, and technical information displaying features of proposed equal for comparison to suggested product. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS SHALL ALSO complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1( k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the Offeror does not become registered in the CCR database by the due date/time of solicitation, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offero r. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. A DUNS number is required for CCR registration. If your company does not have a DUNS#, obtain one by calling 800-333-0505. QUOTES MAY BE SUBMITTED by mail, Email or fax.
