Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12, date d 04 Aug 2006 and & Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DCN 20060814. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). This action is solicited a s a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 711130 with a size standard of $6.5 million. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. The quotation shall consist of one Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 52, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: The Contemporary Worship Band Coordinator will lead a worship band every Wedn esday night as scheduled by the Chaplain. There will be 52 performances for the period of 01 October 2006 to 30 September 2007. The total price per performance is a firm fixed price and includes transportation for the band to and from Yuma Proving Groun d (Y.P.G). Y.P.G. will provide the sound system to run the equipment and voices. The minimum qualifications are as follows: ? Be a Christian and experienced at working in youth ministry ? Demonstrate a familiarity with Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) that targets teenagers ? Familiarity with the local CCM music scene and activities ? Familiarity with/have a relationship with local praise n worship bands/leaders ? Be able to bring own equipment such as guitars, drums, amps, etc. ? Coordinate NLT a 4-member band to lead worship at Y.P.G. every Wednesday night. ? Supervise each band's entry, egress, and presence on Y.P.G. ? Pass a law enforcement background check for working with youth The services shall be performed at US Army Yuma Proving Ground in Yuma, AZ 85365. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124R-06-T-0087. The quote must be submitted al ong with a resume meeting the minimum qualifications by e-mail to Tejae.Craig@yuma.army.mil or facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 11:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST), 15th September 2006.
