- Description
- HQ ACC CONS/LGCA, Langley AFB VA, intends to negotiate a sole source, commercial purchase order with AVID Technologies for a Turnkey Video Editing System. A quantity of 25 consisting of Avid Media Composer Software, HP xw8200 3.4 GHz dual processor CPUs with 3 GB Ram built to custom specifications, custom color coded keyboards, Mojo SDI, Media Drive rS146/320 with LVD terminators and 1.5M 68p VHDCI-HD cables, flatscreen monitors, dual 110V M-Audio speakers, PCA Pyro PC164 Firewire cards, Studio Toolkit HD software, base assurance software maintenance, and installation at ACC sites across the US. AVID Technologies is currently the only source for this equipment and software. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is authorized IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement via email to martha.henaire@langley.af.mil before 18 Sep 06. Telephone request will not be honored. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
