- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to GE FANUC Embedded Systems, Inc of Huntsville, AL for the following Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Computers and Navigation (C4N) system components: Five (5) each Scanning 14-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter P/N VMIVME-3128-000M01 / NSN: 5998-LL-H7B-0275, Five (5) each Analog Output Board, 16 Channels,12-bit P/N VMIVME-4140-001 / NSN: 5998-LL-H7B-9103; Five (5) each 6U, RM235 with Industrial Temperature Range 64MB SSD PCMCIA Card - Flash Memory Adapter Card RM2351 P/N RM2351-F1IND / NSN: 5998-LL-H7B-9885. These items are not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. These GE FANUC Embedded Systems, Inc components are unique to the LCAC electronic equipment configuration and have been thoroughly tested for form, fit, and function. There are no other commercial sources available at this time. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated. Award will be based on the written quotation. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Anticipated award date will be on or about September 15, 2006. NAICS Code 334413 applies. FSC is 5963. SBA Size Standard is 1000 Employees.
