Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award for commercial services a sole source contract for electronic access for all United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service users and public on-site users to the World Wildlife and Ecology Studies Worldwide and Fish and Fisheries Worldwide databases on the Biblioline search platform to National Information Services Corporation, 3100 St Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 20705. The database access to World Wildlife and Ecology Studies Worldwide and Fish and Fisheries Worldwide databases shall be made available 24 hours per day, on the Biblioline platform. Authorized users shall be granted access via IP recognition authentication process without any impediments. The authorized users shall have the right to use the database content during the term of the subscription. The contractor shall provide Perpetual Data Rights to the subscribed-to database content. The subscribed-to database shall be provided on a mutually agreed-upon electronic medium and in XML formtat. The right to perpetual use of the subscribed-to database content will survive the termination of the contract. The contractor shall provide USDA with access to Help desk and training materials, including but not limited to live training sessions, users seminars, and web-based educational materials.
