***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities February 1, 2007. THIS NOTICE IS FOR SITE VISIT PURPOSES ONLY * THE WORK SITE MAY NOT BE ACCESSIBLE FOR VIEWING DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. ATTACHED ARE **DRAFT** DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND SCHEDULE OF ITEMS. Project consists of construction survey and staking, establishment of wilderness boundary signs, setting grade stakes, clearing and grubbing, removal of concrete barriers and old asphalt, excavation, roadway reconditioning, placement of aggregate base and hot asphalt concrete surfacing, installation of delineators and warning signs, pavement striping, and quarry development. The project is on the Willamette National Forest, McKenzie River Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon, and can be located as follows: From Eugene, Oregon, proceed east on Highway 126 to milepost 54.9, to Highway 242. Proceed east on Highway 242 approximately 12 miles, to milepost 68.4, the beginning of the project area. From Sisters, Oregon, proceed east on Highway 242 approximately 23 miles to milepost 68.8, the end of the project area. Government?s estimate is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This proposed procurement listed herein is set-aside for HUBZone firms in accordance with the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Act of 1997. Contract performance time is 60 calendar days. Estimated start work date is May 1, 2007.
