Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The 660th AES intends to award to Digital Technology Associates, Inc. of Concord, CA. a sole source contract for modular component borehole broadband seismometers and associated installation equipment as described herein; CLIN 0001: 1 ea. vertical modular component borehole broadband seismometer with 120 sec. to 50Hz flat velocity response, 2x30,000 V/m/s. output voltage (max): +/- 10 volts, 40Vp-p, self noise greater than or equal to 6 db below the Peterson New Low Noise Model at 0.04 Hz, stainless stacking tubes, 1500 psi line drivers and inclinometer with single-jaw lock installed. CLIN 0002, 1 ea. horizontal modular component borehole broadband seismometer with 120 sec. to 50Hz flat velocity response, 2x30,000 V/m/s. output voltage (max): +/- 10 volts, 40Vp-p, self noise greater than or equal to 6 db below the Peterson New Low Noise Model at 0.04 Hz, stainless stacking tubes, 1500 psi line drivers and inclinometer with single-jaw lock installed. CLIN 0004, 8 ea. associated installation equipment for above seismometers. Desired Delivery is 1 October 2006.
