Description

Under the existing Miniaturized Airborne GPS Receiver (MAGR) ID/IQ contract (FA880-05-D-0001), the Government has the right to direct the Contractor to perform Quick Reaction Support (QRS) tasks. When authorized by a specific task statement, the Contractor prepares, assembles, and tests brass-boards, models, mockups, or other incidental items of hardware necessary for accomplishing the QRS. The Contractor also trouble-shoots and analyzes hardware and software in an effort to determine the root cause of any anomaly(s) under investigation. The Government and Raytheon are now revising the QRS process on the contract in order to expedite the issuing of QRS tasks. This acquisition creates an unfunded pool of 2500 labor hours on the existing contract. Funding will be obligated, as necessary for each individual QRS task. The pool of 2500 labor hours will have an estimated cost based on an annually negotiated wrap rate (to include subcontracted effort). The QRS clause will contain two "Options to Increase Quantity". There will be a unilateral option to increase the annual pool by 100%. And there will be a bilateral option to increase the pool as necessary.
