- Description
- The US Army Contracting Agency, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), the Pentagon, on behalf of the US Army Continuing Education System (ACES), a division of The Adjutant General Directorate (TAGD), U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC), intend s to procure an integrator of technical and other services for the Go Army Education (GoArmyEd) initiative. Under this requirement, the contractor will operate and maintain the GoArmyEd portal; provide Soldier support and educational services; manage GoAr myEd portal schools; provide programmatic and technical support, transition management, and program management. GoArmyEd will be a large scale implementation effort that will be accomplished in coordination with multiple and diverse contractors, organizat ions, and schools working in concert towards a single goal. Contractor will assist HQ Army Continuing Education (ACES) with the implementation of a brand new schools management approach for soldiers, with ACES assuming the roles as the manger of the relat ionships with schools for the delivery of post-secondary education to the Army. The appropriate NAICS code is 541512 with a size standard of $23M. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material task orders will be used. The Period of Performance will be a base year and nine (9) one (1) year option periods. A written Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on or about 29 September 2006, for download on the CCE Homepage at: http://dccw.hqda.pentago n.mil/services, reference W74V8H-06-R-0007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Cont ractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
