Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for a Fabric Pre-Engineered structure. Structure must be designed in such a way as to shed snow before the design load is exceeded, or alternatively provide structure capacity to meet or exceed required roof snow load requirements of Vi ctorville, California. The structure should be a Stressed Membrane Structure measuring at the minimum 60x60 open on both ends and a minimum height of 18 feet clear in the center with one personnel door. The entire roof slope of the structure, includ ing the peak, should have a minimum slope of 26?. No exterior ropes or cables anchoring the structure and no exterior horizontal purlings or interior supports of any description. Steel components such as anchor bolts, cable bracing, base assemblies or at tachment brackets must be zinc plated or galvanized. All personnel doors and windows must be installed in such a way that the vertical and horizontal tension on the architectural membrane is maintained, at all times. All personnel doors, especially fire exits, must have protective all weather hood systems to shed snow and rain away from front of doors. All aluminum components and main supports shall be a natural mill finish, unpainted and anodized, to prevent scratching and chipping. The exterior archit ectural membrane must be in a desert-like color and appearance to match local terrain and be complete with a blackout layer. This equipment will be shipped to Victorville California. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers on RFQ F7S3CE (oral offers will not be accepted). This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS ) Code is 314912 and the size standard is 500. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
