- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source purchase to BioImagene Inc., 1601 South Beanza Blvd, Suite 212, Cupertino, CA for the purchase of Software Licenses, Maintenance and Development. BioImagene is the only source that can meet specifications to be compatible with an existing system. BioImagene holds worldwide intellectual property rights covering image analysis and image management solutions. All image analysis and image management solutions neede d for this procedure are owned by BioImagene or are produced under license from them. Therefore, BioImagene, their sub-licensees and authorized distributors are the sole suppliers of this software. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must s how clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this propose d contract price based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
