- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 03 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR AUTOMATED STAGE AND SOFTWARE FOR INVERTED MICROSCOPE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to change the model number of the Prior Scientific stage. The H117 is not compatibale with the Axiovert 100M microscope, thus the product that should be quoted on, should be the Prior Scientific Stage H107 or EQUAL. These are the minimum specifications that should be met: Travel Range: 112 mm x 70 mm (4" x 3") Repeatability: ? 1 um (micrometer) ? 0.3 um (micrometer) with linear encoders Step Size (Resolution): 0.04 um Load Capacity: 10 kg Stepper Motor: 4 phase, 1 amp per phase, micro stepping Linear Slides: Crossed 3 mm roller bearings Drive Screws: Zero backlash, recirculating ball screws; 2mm pitch Limit Switches: X and Y standard Stage Profile: Approximately 25 mm (1.0") with glass plate installed Weight: 3.5kg (7.71bs) Finish: Electro-phoretic black plate The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 09/06/06.
