Description

The United States Department of Agriculture Research Service, Acquisition and Property Division, Beltsville, MD intends to issue and award to Elsevier Science Direct on a sole source basis, a contract for all USDA users to have continuous electronic internet access to Elsevier Science Direct Journals. Award will be made pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253 (c)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ELSEVIER IS THE ONLY VENDOR WITH PERPETUAL DATA RIGHTS TO THE DATABASE CONTENT WHICH IS REQUIRED BY THE LIBRARY. The estimated period of performance for this requirement will be September 30, 2006 through September 29, 2007. Responses are to be received within 5 days of this notice.
