- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 07T001X2 is issued as a Total Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ) . This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. 01 Furniture Move from Naval Station Pascagoula, MS to NAS Meridian, MS. For the period 29 September 2006 through 3 Nov 2006. Contractor to package and transport existing government-owned furniture and equipment from three (3) buildings located at Naval Station Pascagoula, MS. Delivery to be made at the Supply Warehouse at Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. Period of performance 29 September 2006 to be completed by 03 November 2006. Contractor is responsible for all damages to furniture, equipment, buildings, and grounds resulting from the move. The contractor can repair or replace damaged government property after reaching a mutual agreement with the point of contact (POC) designated. It is the contractor?s responsibility to point out any existing damage of the items being moved to POC or his designated representative before starting the work/move. Contractor MUST BE REGISTERED IN CCR. http://www.ccr.gov Interested vendors must submit offers no later than 26 September 2006 in order to be considered. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, ?Instructions of Offerors?, applies to this acquisition with the addendum that offerors are required to submit warranty information and parts availability with offers; the clause at FAR 52.212-4, ?Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items? apply to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-5, ?Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items? applies to this acquisition along with those that are applicable inside this clause such as (b)(i) 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; (b)(24) 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases; (b)(29) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration; DFAR 252.204-7004 ?Required Central Contractor Registration?; 252.212-7001 ?Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items? along with 252.225-7001, ?Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program?; DFAR 252.232-7003, ?Electronic Submission of Payment Requests?
