Description

The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with VIASAT, INC for the purchase of a Satellite Simulator. The authority for this non-competitive award is Section 4202 Clinger Cohen Act of 1996. Interes ted concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required item. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, request for such do cuments will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Inquiries must be in writing. All questions should be directed to Marcia Fultz, C ontract Specialist, marcia.fultz@us.army.mil. Response due date 22 September 2006. If no afirmative responses are received by 2:00 pm on 22 September 2006, the Contracting officer will proceed to issue a contract to VIASAT, Inc. The NAICS code is 33422 0.
