Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOUCE PROCUREMENT DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Governments intent to award a sole source to Data Integrated Scientific Systems. for purchase, installation and training of a Pattern R ecognition Tool (PRT) For Telemetry System. This system must be purchased from Data Integrated Scientific Systems since the equipment is highly specialized, patented and licensed to DISS. DISS is the only company who can provide this Pattern Recognition Tool for analysis of generated data from the ITS telemetry system. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is r eceived, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
