Description

The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York (VISN 2) intends to make a sole source award for preventive maintenance and repair service for Lyonville BCMA carts as modified by Howard Computers. This award will cover all of VISN 2. The justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Negotiations will be held directly with Howard Computers, PO Box 1590, Laurel, MS 39441. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Offerors who request a copy of the solicitation and/or simply provide a statement that they can provide the required service will not be considered. Responsible sources may respond by submitting information identifying their capability to support such a service with adequate technical information for the Governments Evaluation. This information shall only be considered if clear and convincing evidence is provided that the offeror can meet the requirements of the Government. This information shall include technical and pricing data. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal, however, all responses received before September 27, 2006 will be considered.
